I can't seem to load the page =(. Have those miserable inbred kids resorted to DDOS'ing the site now?

I really hope those little kids are not DDOS'ing the site.
The last thing we need right now is the forum going down so we can get no news about this. The blog appears to be down for me also but i might be typing in the wrong URL for it.

Edit #2: I can confirm it's either DDOS, maintenance downtime, or capacity problems.

I had the site open since morning, then finally submitted a picture a few minutes ago. It's still indefinitely submitting, so I have a feeling I've lost the picture.

When I checked the site last night, it was also down for me. It showed the exact thing that Trymos posted above. It was back up when I opened the site this morning.

I don't know the first thing about networks, but if it went down, came back up and then went down again, the server being temporarily flooded with requests, i.e. DOS'ed, could indeed be the cause. But then again I don't know what kind of bandwidth such a server would have.

If it is a DOS attack: LOL. How cheap. Guess it got too tedious for him/them to keep scribbling "big penor" everywhere.

It's back up for me too.

We're not running the site on a dedicated server which causes us to experience some downtime occasionally. Almost always a simple restart of the server gets the site running again, so if you see the sites down let us know at contact@picturetelephone.net just in case we haven't checked on it in a while and we can usually get it back up no problem

I haven't been able to join any games lately. Just started playing yesterday, and everything was fine until the ... incident. Since then, I've been able to view completed games, and create games, just not join them. This was preceded by skipping through the available games and getting the same ones (judging by the same handwriting, position, etc of "big penor") over and over, sometimes several times in a row. Then it just stopped. Just now I tried, and it has been displaying "join game pending" for several minutes. Anyone else having this issue or is it just me?

Try logging out and logging back in. You might also clear your browser cache.

Anyone else having trouble with the site today? I can do everything but join a game; I get the "join game pending", but it never loads. I've emptied my cache and logged out and back in, but nothing's working. Any ideas?

That's been happening to me lately; it will say "join game pending" but doesn't load a new one. It doesn't seem to matter what browser I'm using or whether I've cleared my cache.

Tonight it's saying "join game successful" but the screen doesn't change and no new game loads.

I also get Join Game Pending often. Emptied cache,... same result. Firefox5, IE8,... same result.
